Ford f150 stereo not working.

Nov 19, 2023 · Maintenance Shop - 2016 f150 radio not working - FIXED - ok at 107,000 miles when got home, radio did not work. Screen worked for other functions but radio would not come on. pulled fuse, put back in no work. pulled fuse inserted CD disk in, would not go in but required power in radio unit to try and accept CD. The system may need to be restarted. To restart your system, shut down the engine, open and close the door, and then lock the door and wait for 2-3 minutes. Make sure that your SYNC 3 screen is black and the lighted USB port is off. SYNC 3 is not able to download my phonebook. This is a cell phone-dependent feature.I'd like to possibly save someone time if they have all/most of the following issues: 1. Power windows stop working 2. Power locks stop working 3. Auto shut-off for radio doesn't work properly 4. Dome light not working properly. Check the black ground wire in the bundle between the front driver's door & the cab.Tighten & secure the connection. Damaged connectors. Replace the wiring harness and secure all the connections. Power loss. Check Ford f150 fuse box diagram and repair or replace the defective wire. Not heated and cooled. If heated only, find the grey four wire connector underneath the seat at the front. Turn on the heater and check for voltage on the red wire.
