I think I have gotten to the point in my career that I realize a sysadmin encompass so much that the question is impossible to answer. Sysadmin could be an all-in-one IT guy. A sysadmin could be an exchange/o365 admin, an AD admin, sharepoint admin or a DBA. They could just be a glorified help-desk jockey with a promoted title. There is one other (network) system administrator that will have the SysAdmin server role. There may be others in the future as well (may or may not be DBA's).
