Having only owned/shot Smith CF revolvers, I was very disappointed with the trigger pull weights, both SA & DA, as it came from the factory. The DA pull was off the scale on my spring gauge, but estimated to be about 9 1/2#. The SA pull was 4 1/2#.The 686 was built for a specific reason, and that's to take the stresses of the faster and lighter hypersonic 110-125 grain 357 magnum bullets. As a new Victory owner with around 500 rounds through it, I have a couple of questions: I have had a FTF about every 75 rounds with no primer marks. Also the slide only locks back on the last round about 1 in 4 or 5 magazines but locks back every time if you put a empty magazine in and rack the slide.
