How long does it take to replace an alternator - I kind of expected the alternator to go out the first year i put the plow on. Suprisingly I was able to get till now. I think I will just buy a decent new one with a lifetime warranty and see how long it lasts. I cant justify spending 400 on an alternator. plus it only has a two year warranty.
