There's a lot of power to be squeezed out of character design and tactics... but to do that takes knowing the system pretty well. So to overcome the difficulty there's a high learning cliff.Spell recommendations: 1st- Mage Armor, Magic Missile, Shield. These are the only ones that scale halfway well into the late game. Your choice on the rest. 2nd- Scorching Ray, Burning Arc. 3rd- Fireball, Haste. Lightning Bolt is much more situational and does the same damage as Fireball.Just a heads up to help on your search, there is also a term called Fast Healing. You trade -2 (-1 from DEX and -1 from size increase) to-hit for +1 to-damage (assuming composite bow). Ekun does plenty of damage anyway as long as you build him ... . Lsu dine on campus
